Executive Director of Finance & Estates

Sue is a master at providing absolute clarity to often complex business operations. Her sound financial planning and business analysis has protected our schools from the worst of the cost of living crisis.

Sue grew up in Wales, studying accountancy she became a qualified Accountant in her early 20s. She worked in finance roles in the housing, local council and health sector before joining the University of Exeter as Deputy Director of Finance. She has substantial knowledge across charity accounting and taxation, strategic planning, budgeting/forecasting, systems implementation & statutory reporting which she brings to her role as Executive Director of Finance and Estates. Sue leads a team who support our schools to plan resources carefully and for the benefit of all children.

Sue is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
