Welcoming Great People
Living in Devon
If you are thinking of relocating, you couldn’t have chosen a better place than Devon. Our diverse county is the ultimate destination to live and work.
With a World Heritage Site coastline, award-winning beaches, two magnificent national parks and two historic cities; Exeter and Plymouth, our county has a lot to offer.
Exeter has been crowned the third most aesthetic city in the UK. It is a centre for education, business and tourism in Devon and Cornwall. Our staff can spend weekends in the city centre, taking in live music or watching a show at Exeter's flagship theatre. Alternatively, they can head to the beach for an evening swim or a bracing walk on Dartmoor.
Plymouth, Britain's Ocean City is a confident and growing city which is undergoing a cultural revolution, from its exceptional creative industry to its international marine sector. There is quite simply nowhere better to live, work and play than the South West.
Devon also has great transport links with trains that can reach London within two-and-a-half hours. The county is serviced by Exeter Airport and has ferry links to the continent from Plymouth. Devon also boasts an excellent and extensive cycle network.
