Health and Education Lead, TWT

Lisa is a teacher, school senior leader and the Ted Wragg trust lead for health and education, based at Sidmouth College. She has previously led the Department of Education funded project ‘RSHE Ready’, supporting schools with the introduction of statutory relationship, sex and health education, and was the Senior Project Lead for the Building Resilient Learners, evaluating the impact of school-based CBT approaches on student wellbeing, resilience and attendance. Lisa has over 25 years of experience in teaching science, health and social care and PSHE, carrying out research and evaluation. Lisa believes that all students should have access to the best education, regardless of their circumstances, that this education should not just be the receipt of academic qualifications, it should provide each young person with the skills, character and abilities to lead a flourishing life beyond the school gates.
