Head of Women and Children’s Commissioning for NHS Devon

Hannah moved to Devon from the Milton Keynes in 2021 and has worked for the NHS since the age of 17, starting out as a health care assistant before training to be a nurse and a midwife. After moving away from delivering direct clinical care, she wanted to make a difference to more people by helping to improve services. Hannah’s job Title is Head of Women and Children’s Commissioning for NHS Devon. NHS Devon is the organisation responsible for the majority of county’s NHS budget, and develops and delivers plans to improve people’s health, deliver high-quality care and better value for money. There has never been such an important time for the health, education, and care system for children to come together and align priorities in a way that will improve the health and life chances for our children and young people.
